Someone recently left me a comment, 'what inspires you?'.
In my whole life, I don't think I've ever been asked that, nor have I ever really thought about it. I'm assuming all of my inspiration has come subconsciously, but lately I've been trying to concoct a list and bring some to the surface. So I want to thank you for feeding me something to consume my thoughts for now.
- Nightmares.
- Hallucinations.
- Prostitutes.
- Certain music and sound.
- Addiction.
- Dirt.
- Literature.
- Mental/physical sickness.
- Detroit, and victims of the Big Three.
- The crazy people I shoot.
- The crazy people whom I've worked with.
These are just some examples.

This is my first time posting an entry in 3 years, and I've only recently began to become more active on this site. I've gone through and deleted a lot of my old work. I've read over old entry posting and comments, and I have to say I feel completely different.

I've been feeling extremely dry since I left high school in the beginning of 2008. I've felt no inspiration for awhile, and only now has it slowly been leaking back into my brain. I've felt extremely bent up for a long time because of the lack of equipment that I own. Yes, I still use a ' point and shoot ', camera. But lately I've found myself pulling out my collection of film cameras I own that I've not used since high school, and re-teaching myself the skills I haven't used in about 2 years. It's sort of exciting.

Modeling has been an alternative that I've been consuming some of my time with. It's been another outlet of expression during my dry season with photography. I was featured in a Daily Deviation not too long ago modeling as a naked, bald robot. I just tried to post the link here, but the photographer had been banned, haha.

I recently took time and went through every single new deviation notice I had, (over 20,000). It's amazing how much the photographers and artists I used to follow have grown. Some really cool shit. And that in itself is inspiration.
